NATIVE FRIENDS: Always bring the food.

NATIVE FRIENDS: Will give you a big hug and a kiss.

WHITE FRIENDS: Call your parents Mr. and Mrs.
NATIVE FRIENDS: Call your parents Mom and Dad..

WHITE FRIENDS: Have never seen you cry.
NATIVE FRIENDS: Cry with you.

WHITE FRIENDS: Will eat at your dinner table and leave.
NATIVE FRIENDS: Will spend hours there, talking, laughing, and just being together.

WHITE FRIENDS: Know a few things about you.
NATIVE FRIENDS: Could write a book with direct quotes from you.

WHITE FRIENDS: Will leave you behind if that's what the crowd is doing.
NATIVE FRIENDS: Will kick the whole crowds' ass that left you behind.

WHITE FRIENDS: Would knock on your door.
NATIVE FRIENDS: Walk right in and say, 'I'm home!'

WHITE FRIENDS: Are for a while..
NATIVE FRIENDS: Are for life.
